Road Ahead

Looking ahead, I see my path shaped by and the desire to form genuine connections. Working with refugees has shown me the value of being there for others and living with compassion. My experience volunteering in Peru taught me that true healthcare requires both empathy and expertise. Through my writing, leadership opportunities, and thoughtful exchanges in multiple languages, I have come to appreciate how listening, paired with action, can inspire lasting change.

As I stand on the threshold of college, my motivation reaches beyond transcripts or hours logged in service. I am driven by the urge to question, to learn how others are trying to make change, and to tackle the issues that matter to me. I am eager to study how far medicine can go, and where humanity can take it. I want to know more about the cultures that still persist and flourish as technology reshapes our lives. I want to build communities that, when anchored in inclusion and the passion of the people in it, become stronger.

I am excited to become part of a community where curiosity connects with science, advocacy, creativity, and service. On this journey, my goal is to keep listening, keep learning, and keep showing up with humility and purpose. I have found that the greatest questions rarely yield quick or easy answers.  But, by pursuing them, we invite deeper perspective and meaningful transformation.

I live life through the questions that matter most to me.

How can we ensure science remains a tool for bettering our world, not just understanding it?

Thank you for choosing to walk alongside me. Every bridge built brings us a step closer, making our world more united.
